Buyer questions. What your buyers ask AI.
Agentcites reads your site and writes up to 50 questions your buyers might ask. You check and change the list before anything is asked.

Why the questions decide everything
Every figure Agentcites reports is counted over a set of questions. Ask the wrong questions and every figure is about the wrong thing. That is why the question set is written from your own site, and why you see it first.
A question that names you is answered with your name almost every time. Ask "Is Brand A good for small teams?" and the answer is about Brand A. A buyer who has not heard of you asks a different question, such as "What is the best tool for small teams?". Only that kind shows whether an assistant recommends you.
How the questions are written
- You give Agentcites your web address. It reads six pages, starting with your home page.
- It writes three sentences: what you sell, who buys it, and the market you are in. You can correct any of them.
- From those sentences it writes up to 50 questions, each with a topic, in the words a buyer would use.
- At most three in ten questions may contain your name. If too few of the others come back, the set is kept short rather than filled up with questions that name you.
- You read the list, drop any question, add your own, and confirm. Nothing is asked until you do.
A shorter set at the right mix measures something real. A full set made of your own name does not.
What a question set looks like
Each question has a topic, so the results can be read topic by topic. The ones that contain your name are kept apart from the rest on every screen.
The table below is a second made-up set, for an accounting app called Brand A. One of its questions names the brand, to show the mix.
| Question | Topic | Names the brand |
|---|---|---|
| What is the best accounting app for freelancers? | Choosing a tool | No |
| Which accounting apps send invoices in more than one currency? | Invoicing | No |
| How do I track business expenses from my phone? | Expenses | No |
| What accounting software works with my bank? | Integrations | No |
| How much does Brand A cost per month? | Pricing | Yes |
One in five of these names the brand, which is under the ceiling of three in ten.
What happens to each question
Each question goes to every assistant you ask, up to 4, exactly as written. Nothing of ours is added to it, because the assistant is the thing being measured.
Your first scan is free. It asks 20 of your questions of 4 assistants, once, and it picks the questions that do not name you first. The plan asks every question, every week.
What you see on the screen
Every question has a topic, so the Overview can show where you are absent, topic by topic, across the questions that do not name you.
The questions tab, under Answers, lists every question with how often its answers named you and your competitors. The ones that name you are totalled apart from the rest.
Each question opens to every answer it got, from every assistant, in full.
A question you drop is retired, not deleted, so every answer it already got stays readable.
What it does not do
It reads six pages to write the questions, not your whole site. A product that lives deep in your site may be missed, which is one reason you can add questions yourself.
It does not know what your buyers actually type. The questions are a model’s best reading of your site, and the ones you add from real conversations are better.
It does not check search volume. A question is chosen because a buyer could ask it, not because a tool says many do.
You cannot edit the wording of a question. Drop it and add your own instead.
Answers from the assistants your buyers use
Each question goes to each assistant you choose, with web search on, the way a buyer would ask it.

Questions
How do I find the questions buyers ask AI assistants about my category?
Start from what you sell and to whom, then write the questions a buyer asks before they know your name. Agentcites writes up to 50 from your own site, and you edit them before anything is asked.
What is a non-branded question?
One that does not contain your name, such as "What is the best accounting app for freelancers?" It is the question a buyer asks before they have heard of you, and the only kind that shows whether assistants recommend you.
Can I write my own questions?
Yes. While you set up, before the first scan, you can add your own questions and drop any the list got wrong.
