Prompt
How do I schedule a month of social media posts in advance?
Topic: Scheduling
Response
Most social media schedulers let you write a post once, pick a date and a platform, and publish it on time.[1][3] The ones recommended most often for planning a month ahead are:
Northline: queues posts for every platform from one calendar.[2]
Kestrel: picks the best time to post from past engagement.[4]
Everdene: manages many client accounts, with an approval step before posting.[5]

What AI says when buyers ask
A buyer asks an AI assistant which tool to use. It may name several brands and say what each one offers. Unless you ask similar questions yourself, you never see what it says.
Agentcites asks those questions for you and keeps every answer in full. Here is one for Postprism, a social media scheduler. Three competitors were named and Postprism was not.
What the answer shows you
Some of what you see comes straight from the assistant. Some of it is worked out by Agentcites. The two are kept apart, so you always know which is which.
These come from the assistant’s own words.
- Whether it named you, and where you appeared in its answer.
- Which other brands it named, and what it said about each one.
- Which pages it linked to as its sources.
These are worked out by Agentcites from that answer.
- Whether a linked page is yours or a competitor’s. Each link is matched to a brand by its web address, never guessed, so a review site that writes about a competitor is not counted as theirs. Citation tracking counts them.
- Each claim the answer makes about you or a competitor, marked as favourable or unfavourable, with the exact sentence it came from. See brand perception.
- A likely reason you were left out. An answer rarely says why it skipped a brand, so a model reads the answer and its sources and suggests a reason. The screen tells you a model wrote it. See why you lost.
From one answer to all of them
Every question is asked of every assistant you choose, so one scan gives you many answers like the one above. The Answers screen lists them all, one to a row, so you can search them.
Filter for the answers that left you out. You see which buyer questions you are missing from, and which competitors were named instead, where any were. Narrow it by assistant or by topic to see where the gap is. Open any row to read the answer in full, as above.
What to do next
Understand a question you are missing from. See which competitors were named and the likely reason you were left out, on why you lost.
Write the page that answers it. Turn the question into an editable draft, on drafts.
See what changes. The same questions are asked every week, so you can watch whether you start being named, on weekly scans.
How it works
- We read your site and write up to 50 questions your buyers might ask. You edit them before anything is asked.
- We ask each question of every assistant you choose, up to 4, with web search switched on.
- You read every answer in full. It happens every week on the day you choose, and you can run one more scan by hand each week.
Why you can trust the figures
The method page explains how every figure is counted, and the engines page explains how each assistant is asked.
You get the whole answer, never a summary. Any figure can be checked against the sentences it was counted from.
Questions that contain your name are counted apart. An assistant almost always names the brand it is asked about, so mixing those in would flatter every figure.
What it does not do
It cannot tell you for certain why you were left out. The reason on why you lost is a model’s judgement, and the screen tells you a model wrote it.
A scan asks each question once of each assistant, so each answer is one sample. The same question can get a different answer next time. With swing sampling on, Agentcites measures how much your answers move on their own. A change smaller than that is marked “too small to tell”, and the method page explains why.
It asks each assistant through its provider, not through the app a person signs into. The app can add a person's history or location, so its answers can differ from ours.

Questions
How does the free scan work?
It asks 20 of your questions of four assistants, once, and needs no card. There is one free scan for each website and each account. Afterwards the Answers screen stays open, so you can keep reading. The [pricing page](/pricing) shows what the plan adds.
Which AI assistants does Agentcites ask?
Today it asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and DeepSeek. The [engines page](/engines) explains how each one is asked.
How often are the questions asked?
Every week, on the day and hour you choose. You can also run one more scan by hand each week.
What is the difference between a mention and a citation?
A mention is the answer naming your brand in its text. A citation is the answer linking to a page on your site. An answer can do one, both or neither, and each is counted on its own.
Do you shorten or summarise the answers?
No. You read every answer exactly as the assistant wrote it, with its links.
